Nov. 26–BENGALURU — Stelae Technologies Ltd, the maker of software that analyses documents using artificial intelligence, said on Thursday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Earlsfield Capital, UK; Saha Fund, a women-focused venture capital fund; Cross Border Angels, an angel network; and formerInfosys Ltd veteran Mohandas Pai.
The Chennai- and Bengaluru-based firm plans to use the investment to scale up its operations and does this analysis through a software called ‘Khemeia’, which detects elements in documents through pattern-recognition algorithms.
“The Enterprise B2B (business-to-business) big data sector remains a high growth space, and Khemeia is a product platform built to scale globally and across sectors, as it transforms the ability of enterprises to utilize data that was previously inaccessible or difficult to convert. As backers of high-growth Indian businesses, we look forward to drawing upon our international experience to help Stelae scale and continue pushing the barriers,” said Sumeet Pillai, founding partner at Earlsfield Capital, in a statement.
